BIG Beam Competition
Missoula Concrete Construction has teamed up with the Montana State University, Engineering Masters Program to compete in the National Big Beam Competition! We will post the results once they are in.

Results:
*Cracking load: 20 K predicted, 25-26 K observed
*Ultimate load: 36.5 K predicted, 39.6 K observed
*Deflections: 4.5 in predicted, 6.0 in observed
Ultimate capacity calculations were off by 4 kips, and deflections were off 25%.
*Finished 16th Place in the Nation!
